Lets talk cycling
As a sport?

Completely fucked - the last 5/10/15 years and beyond dominated by thugs who took better drugs and didnt ( took a long while to get caught). Those that did get caught claim they were doing the same as everyone else. Those that didnt probably made up the last two or three of the peleton.

Now? We have a supreme sportsman in Froome being slagged off by experts, colleagues and spectators alike- "he hasnt been caught but he will be" is the perceived wisdom- again- where is the line being drawn on who is the "natural winner- no-one knows so take your pick

As a spectator sport-?! Do me a favour - drive for hours and park on a mountainside, wait for hours, see the cyclists come....there they go..if you're lucky you might get an empty bottle of water or one full of piss thrown at you. Then wait to get the real bounty- a sponsors pack of gel thrown off the back of the cavalcade. pack up, drive on and do the same tomorrow.

As a leisure/commuting activity- life expectancy of a Polish Hurricane fighter pilot during the battle of Britain- still doesnt explain why getting on the bike turns you into a cunt that apparently can weave everywhere, drive through metal, cut up the inside, all the time wearing a camera so you can chop the footage and post it up on you tube you busy snidey cunt.

thoughts?

The commute between mile end and aldgate is like downtown manila...fckg joke driving in now. The bike cunts even zig zag on pavements and the actual road works that are bringing the area to a standstill in order to accommodate the cunts.

Still riding with no lights and dark clothing. 90% of cyclists are cunts - fact, saw that stat on the TFL website.

Don't flatter yourself Ron, I just think your cunt posts need cunting off from time to time.

Too right they edit the camera.
Never film themselves jumping on pavements and hitting pedestrians do they?
Self righteous holier than thou twats

I never got the chance to. The cunts drove away too quickly.

I have a question for you. That is, why are you so obsessed with me?
I really don't know the answer to that.

Ron, have you ever DECKED someone?

I think I know the answer.

Re: Lets talk cycling
The driver is clearly a GRADE A CUNT, but the cyclist didn't entirely distinguish himself either. Mainly for not decking the cunt once he decided to get physical.

I did, however, enjoy the "slow mo" of the cunt doing the face plant into the tarmac.

It was a LOL and a half.

Re: Lets talk cycling
if this sint a classic example of the kind of cunt I;m talking about, I dont know what is

http://tinyurl.com/onz4tzd

Lets leave alone the fact the cyclist is clearly being a cunt from the start; nearly runs over a pedestrian while chasing the car; cycles up the pavements etc etc. Oh no, he's "going to report him to the police for nor wearing a seatbelt.."

The driver's a cunt too, mind!

Spot on.

One of my worst nightmares is finding myself trapped in a room full of cycling enthusiasts talking about their new tyres or state of the art saddles.

Or worse still, talking about the Tour de France, a tedious month long procession won every year by the cheat who has managed to pile down the most drugs without getting caught.

Re: Lets talk cycling
Up to the completion of stage 18 a mere 25 bicycles were tested for motors. These tests came after 4 days racing & there was an 11 day stretch commencing from 1st mountain stage where none were tested at all.
9 of the bicycles tested were the entire Team Sky after the team time trial.
They're not testing that much are they?
Also wasn't there a report of cyclists end masse changing bicycles before the end of a particular stage?

Re: Lets talk cycling
Hesjedal's motor in bike theory was complete bollocks. The camera flattens out the gradient of the road considerably, combined with the fact that his crank caught in the ground as the bike went over, created the illusion that people jumped all over.

The UCI regularly x-ray bikes for this purpose, and have never found one.*

*although the UCI are a bunch of crooked cunts to be fair.

Re: Lets talk cycling
Since the 1930s pretty much all professional cyclists have been cheats. Almost all have been taking banned substances since then. There have been other forms of cheating - wires in cars towing bicycles, holding onto the sides of cars getting towed & there is even a video on YouTube which pretty much shows a bicycle in the Vuelta Espana had a motor in his bike as the back wheel kept spinning when he fell off.

It would take an enormous stretch to believe any of the modern cyclists are any less dishonest than their predecessors.

Good post there, sir.

I don't agree on all points but you've summed up the "full kit" aspect nicely.
